MISSION STATEMENT

JOHN 3:16 MINISTRIES is a “Spiritual Boot Camp” for men with drug      and alcohol addictions.  It is a place that offers a refuge for men to have       the opportunity to heal spiritually, mentally and physically.

While at John 3:16 Ministries, the men will have the opportunity to learn tools to help them become productive citizens in the community, of course     it will be up to them to apply the things that they learn to their lives once   they leave the ministry.

John 3:16 Ministries is the result of an eight year vision of a man who made a lot of bad choices in his past and went through a similar ministry where Jesus Christ saved and changed his way of life. John 3:16 Ministries  is a non-profit 501-C3 organization dedicated to helping men with addictions and does not receive funding from state or federal government. John 3:16 Ministries is not “State Affiliated” in any way and is not recognized by the State of Arkansas as one of its state facilities. Our funding comes from local churches, individuals, local businesses, and monetary donations. John 3:16 Ministries is “Jesus Christ Affiliated” and under his authority and his alone.

This facility is a long-term program with many men staying for at least 6 months to a year. When men contact John 3:16 Ministries to find out about entering the program, many ask what is the charge Bryan Tuggle gladly tells them, “Jesus Christ has already paid the cost in full.” That’s correct---men stay at this camp free of charge. Unlike other facilities that charge a large fee and generally have only a 28-day program. John 3:16 Ministries is a long term facility and is free for men 21 years and older to enter.

The ministry is interdenominational, and has a board of directors which consists of ten Christian men who love the Lord and have a heart for the hurting. Bryan and Beverly Tuggle are the directors. There are seven instructors, six teachers, and two administrative assistants.  Classes are now offered from UACCB for residents to prepare them for college. These classes are taught by John Mark Rutter. Also graduates who go to Unity House are offered the first semester of college paid at either UACCB or  ASU Newport.

We have Bible classes three days a week taught by Glen McKay for new residents. James Woods counsels new residents weekly who attend bible class. We have morning Bible classes for all residents five days a week.

John 3:16 has become actively involved in a new singles ministry that started in 2008 called Matthew 6:33. Glen McKay one of John 3:16’s teachers and his wife Rhonda started and maintain this ministry.

John 3:16 ministries goal is not just to help men stop using drugs and alcohol. It is to create a brand new man in Christ. We teach the men to look forward, leave the past behind and become godly men.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;               old things have passed away; behold, all things have             become new.”                               2 Corinthians 5:17

The ministry does not offer treatment, but it does offer the cure -

       JESUS CHRIST IS THE ANSWER.
